CTF: Grade 6 Construction and DesignGrade six students will have the opportunity to enhance their learning in core subjects by embarking on a project based learning challenge in the CTF program. In five 1.25 hour sessions, they will build a rubber band powered airplane and a boomerang (airfoils/Bernoulli's principle) while exploring Science Six topics in Flight and Aerodynamics.

Bernoulli's principle states that fluids (like air) in an area moving faster than the the surrounding area possess less pressure. Faster-moving fluid, lower pressure; Slower-moving fluid, higher pressure. Objects are pushed from areas of high pressure to areas of low pressure.
Two wrongs don't make a right but two Wrights can make an airplane.
